Murrayfield Juniors Win the Scottish Inter-Club Championship at Gleneagles!
What a fantastic achievement from our junior team, they have done us so proud of late! The junior team played the final at the Kings Course at Gleneagles on Sunday 25th October where they were against Bothwell Castle, Kilmarnock Barassie and Uphall.
The Scottish Team winners (Murrayfield) and runners up (Uphall) have qualified to represent Scotland at the Home Nations Inter-Club Championship where they will compete against 6 teams from England, Ireland and Wales over a week of competition in Antequera in Spain.
The team won by 5 shots, 1 gross score counted and 4 nett scores out of the 6 who played, which were:
Andrew Ni, Cameron Whyte, Patrick Lawrence, Bobby Gibson, Sam Goldsmith and Andrew Grant.
It's brilliant to see them get to the final but to win is something special, very well done!!
