Ramsay Wows Members with Short Game Clinic at Official Opening
Thanks to all that came along to the Short Game Practice Area opening last Friday. After a mixed day weather wise we were blessed by a dazzling display of short game wizardry from European Tour Professional RichieRamsay as the evening sun dipped below the tree line of our Practice Range.
Our club Captain GeorgePringle and around 80 Murrayfield members had the privilege of watching Richie and asking him questions about those tricky little shots around the greens and in the bunkers.
The junior members especially enjoyed it when at the end they were able to challenge him at a chipping contest (won by AndrewGrant pictured below!) and ask him some questions about his golf equipment and life on tour.
I would personally like to thank GeorgePringle for coming along and saying a few words on the evening, and of course RichieRamsay for taking time out of his very busy schedule to come along to the club.

Forty four ladies played a most enjoyable Greensomes game in the annual Lady Captain v Lady Vice Captain match on Saturday.
The Lady Captain's team won and afterwards brunch and birthday cake were enjoyed by all - celebrating the birthday of the Lady Captain and her twin sister Fiona Guest.
Juniors make the final for third year in a row
Come support our juniors on Sunday 6th of September at Silverknowes. They will be playing for the Lothian's Match play final and have also qualified for the Scottish final at Dalmahoy.
