Well done Wendy on winning the 9 hole Stableford and a handicap reduction along with it too! Linda narrowly missed out on top spot but is keeping her form going of late and Kay managed to fend off a tie for 3rd with four others to take the last top spot.

Mini Junior Medal

Around 45 Mini Juniors turned out on Sunday to play in their fun competition with some super scoring.

Well done to Brodie Nichol who had a gross 33, the best scratch score of the day. Charlie Campbell & Joseph Callahan both had 35's.

Abbey Steedman had the lowest girls score with a gross 41, while Jemma McCauley shot 44 and Cara Robson and Katie Bambery both shot a 45. Well done to all the Mini's for making it a great day out.

Mini Junior Invitation Event - Saturday 6th September

TEE OFF FROM 2:45 PM TILL 3:30 PM ISH - HOLES 1 - 7 OFF YELLOW TEES

The format is: 
- Foursomes - the guest tees off on the 1st hole and it is alternate shots after that (the mini junior tees off on the 2nd hole etc.) 
- Mini juniors guest (member or non member), must be over 16 years old with a playing handicap. The handicap is 1/4 of the 2 handicaps combined. Strokeplay scoring format. 
- Tee off times will be drawn before the event but everyone must be here for 3pm! Enter both names on the sheet below. Click here to get in touch

Well the two teams have now completed their team lists following the 3 wildcard picks made by each Captain. The teams are as followed:

USA: Bubba Watson, Rickie Fowler, Jim Furyk, Jimmy Walker, Phil Mickelson, Matt Kuchar, Jordan Spieth, Patrick Reed, Zach Johnson. Wildcards: Keegan Bradley, Hunter Mahan, Webb Simpson.

That was great news on Tuesday with Paul McGinley picking our very own Stephen Gallacher as his first for the Ryder Cup team!! Out of all of them chosen he certainly put in the most effort to help secure a wildcard pick… Roll on 3 weeks when all of the action kicks off! 


Ryder Cup Weekend Special

We are sure to have a number of events and specials on over Ryder Cup weekend the 26-28th September. 

In the clubhouse bar on both the Saturday and Sunday there will be special a Ryder Cup menu which will offer great value for money. We welcome all our members, guests and families to join us in supporting the European Ryder Cup team. The Ryder Cup will be on the big TV's all day and we look forward to seeing you all there.
