More Murrayfield Magic On Display In Dispatch Trophy
The Murrayfield Men's Team comprising of Cameron Whyte, Bobby Gibson, Alistair Thurlow and Lloyd Dunlop have advanced to the quarter finals of the Dispatch Trophy after defeating Stevenson & Cheyne 3&2.
The holders Carrickvale stand in their way in tonight's quarter-finals, with either Silverknowes or Harrison awaiting the winners in the last four of the tournament.

There were many competitions last week with some great scoring too. Andrew Grant's nett 67 claimed victory in the Junior Order of Merit on Sunday 14th May. Andrew won by 2 shots from Jamie Carrick Anderson and a further 4 shots back was Stuart Thurlow with nett 71, finishing 3rd.
Congratulations to Vicky Gumley who won the Ladies May Medal with nett 67, also claiming the Murrayfield Gold Medal and Macmillan Cancer Relief Fund Spoon. Jean Inglis, who also shot nett 67, won the Loughran Trophy for the best nett score by a senior lady.
Debbie Lochhead & Alison Robertson scored 41 points en route to winning the Ladies Weekend Invitation Foursomes, a two short victory from Mari Deans & Joan Lunn. In 3rd was Jintana Geyl & Pam Townsend with 34 points.
Jane Bruce's 37 points was the winning score in the Senior Ladies 9 Hole Stableford, 1 point ahead from Eleanor Stewart and Louise Campbell who finished 2nd and 3rd respectively.
In the Men's midweek competition, Kevan Rowan scored a nett 64 to claim top spot after countback from Ian Gibson. Two nett 65s from Mike McNally and Xiongwei Ni meant they finished 3rd and 4th respectively. The best gross score of the day was from Cameron Whyte with a 69.
In the Men's May Medal, Euan Atkinson came out on top with a nett 65, beating Alastair Dodds and Brian Grainge who were 1 shot back with nett 66s. Lloyd Dunlop fired a gross 70, the lowest score of the day.
On Wednesday, Michel D S Johnstone scored a nett 64 to finish one ahead of Keith T L Millar and two ahead of David Kyles in the Senior Gent's May Monthly Medal.
