Iain had his brother Neil staying last week and had a visit to their nearby Hermitage Golf Course, Toben had his first golfing experience there!

New Pro Am Announced at Murrayfield
This year will see the inaugural AWG StreetWork Charity Pro Am. The event is in aid of this great charity which helps homeless people in Edinburgh. The event will be held on Friday 12th of September and teams cost £500 including lunch and prizes. Our very own Junior Convenor, Tony Donnelly, who does a great job for the junior section is responsible for initiating this event, so any support would be greatly appreciated. If you are interested in entering a team or finding out more about the event please contact lindsey.farningham@awg.com
Member-Pro 4 Ball Challenge
Sign up in the Pro Shop in a team of 3 to be included in our great fun competition. Each team will be drawn with either Jonnie, Duncan or Iain to compete in a Better Ball Stableford competition running over the summer months.
Games will be arranged as you would arrange other tie events i.e. to suit everyone’s diary. At the end of the summer the top 3 teams with the most Stableford points win our fantastic prizes (countback if necessary). Entry is £30 per team, paid to the Pro Shop. Each player may only enter once.
