Phoenix Open: Hideki Matsuyama beats Rickie Fowler in play-off
It's not what you want to see happen to your playing partner but in a play-off, if your opponent hits it in the water, like Rickie Fowler did on the fourth Play-Off hole, you certainly have to capitalise on it!
Hideki summed it up afterwards with the following statement: "Rickie opened the door for me, and I was able to walk through it," he said.
Hideki moves up to 12th in the world after that win, and Danny Willet up to 13th shows the strength of the players these days. It will be interesting to see how 2016 pans out, we are all talking about the top 3 of Speith, McIlroy and Day but close of their heels is Rickie in 4th and a floor of other young golfers showing their talents.
